Just a few weeks after Nike launched an over-the-top new NYC flagship, Adidas has opened the doors to its colossal New York flagship. The 45,000-square-foot Fifth Avenue flagship will boast four stories of the newest in Adidas innovations.

The store is designed to emulate a sports fan’s dream experience, taking cues from high school stadiums to create a unique retail experience. Stand-out features in the store include a juice bar (by Brooklyn-based company Grass Roots), cash check-outs designed like ticket booths, stadium lighting, locker rooms instead of dressing rooms, and personal fitness consultations for customers.
The ground floor entrance is designed like a tunnel, inspired by the tunnel entrances in professional sports stadiums. The store even offers a series of stadium seating, so customers can sit and enjoy a game from right inside the store.

Although there are escalators and elevators between each of the four floors, customers are encouraged to use the stairs, designed like a stadium’s staircase. To continue with the stadium theme, Adidas included a ‘merch booth’, where customers can pick up New York-themed products. Customers of the new flagship will be able to customize their own Adidas sneakers through the mi adidas customization platform.

One of the highlights of the second-floor women's department is the bra bar. Women can scroll through images on tablets placed around the area and select a custom size, color, and style of their desired bra.

To celebrate the opening, the store hosted a high-profile party Thursday night. Attendees included model Karlie Kloss, Desiigner, Joey Badass, singer Justine Skye, and model Madison Beer.

This is Adidas’s thirteenth New York location. The store is located at the corner of Fifth and 46th Street, and now open to the public as of Thursday morning.
