Online B2B platform Fashion Cloud and the CIFF and Modefabriek trade shows are joining forces this summer, aiming to stage the leading digital trade show in Europe.

Digital Fashion Week Europe will kick off the commercial season from June 29 to July 1, followed by the Modefabriek show in Amsterdam on July 11-12, and by CIFF in Copenhagen on August 11-13.

Exhibitors will be able to choose from different commercial packages to take part in Digital Fashion Week Europe, booking a stand for Fashion Cloud and for the physical sessions of Modefabriek and CIFF.

According to the organisers, this will enable visitors to find out more about the exhibitors online, before meeting them in person at the shows.

“For labels and retailers it is more practical to meet at one international digital event than to take part in several local digital ones,” said René Schnellen, one of the co-founders of Fashion Cloud.

Digital Fashion Week Europe is supported by several partners, among them Euretco, EK/servicegroup, BTE, Unitex and Katag.

“With this Europe-wide initiative, we are combining the expertise and in-depth knowledge of a number of professionals active in [fashion] itself, and in the event organising and digital innovation fields. We are convinced that the way forward is through an association of different online and offline service providers, targeting an audience that is both global and local,” said Caroline Krouwels, CEO of Modefabriek.

“Our initiative offers a highly interesting service for labels, giving them the opportunity to take part in Digital Fashion Week Europe as well as in the physical sessions of Modefabriek and CIFF,” said Christina Neustrup, CEO of CIFF.

In January 2021, the event recorded 10,000 subscribers from over 100 countries - DFW

In January 2021, the event recorded 10,000 subscribers from over 100 countries, as opposed to 5,000 visitors for the previous edition. “Immediately after the event, we began to receive requests from exhibitors wanting to book their stand for the next edition. Now that we have teamed up with CIFF and Modefabriek, demand for the summer edition should be even higher,” said Schnellen.

Fashion brands can apply for places on www.fashion.cloud/digital-fashion-week, while retailers can sign up for free.
