Farfetch, the British fashion etailer, has launched as a Global Curator on Apple Music.

The etailer will launch two sets of playlists on Apple Music, "Songs from the Shoot" and "Tune Tuesdays." The playlists will be curated by the creative team behind the Farfetch editorial shoots, as well as its featured stars such as Maxwell, Chelsea Leyland and Florrie. They will be created at Farfetch photo shoots, giving listeners an insight into the songs played on set.

Stephanie Horton, Chief Marketing Officer at Farfetch, said: "At Farfetch, we’re always thinking of new ways to enhance our customers’ shopping experience. This partnership will not only allow our customers to feel like they’re part of the creative process that takes place on set, but is also the perfect merging of tech and fashion. Songs From The Shoot launches with Maxwell and we have an exciting line up of curators planned. We are also integrating Apple Music into all of our platforms in order to provide a truly immersive experience to our customers.”

Farfetch will also integrate Apple Music into its existing iOS mobile, tablet app Farfetch Discover, and its website. Apple Music seems to be targeting the fashion industry - it recently announced that Alexander Wang would be the inaugural designer to be featured on Apple Music.
