As VP of commercial and brand marketing, North America, Patel will lead the account management and brand partnerships functions for the region, where she will support the teams in Los Angeles and New York in working on new initiatives to help Farfetch partners continue to deliver strong and sustained growth on the Farfetch platform, the company said.

Patel first joined Farfetch in 2016 as vice president, brand marketing, North America. Prior to joining the online company, she served as vice president of communications for luxury shoe brand Christian Louboutin, director of public relations and later AVP, public relations of luxury jewelry brand Van Cleef & Arpels, and director of special projects for Curtco Media.

In her new role, she will continue to report to Jeffery Fowler, president of the Americas. She will also continue to lead brand marketing for North America including media and communications, PR, events, partnerships, advertising, celebrity relations and influencer marketing.

Patel joins Farfetch as the company continues to experience growth in multiple areas, having raised $250 million to accelerate its China growth in January and having announced plans to launch a new product drop program in April
