Etro, which came under the control of private equity fund L Catterton last July, is multiplying its projects. The Italian luxury house is launching "Forever pirates, the upstream generation", a collaboration with eight young talents from Europe, Asia and the United States, that have been invited to reinterpret the famous Indian paisley pattern, which has become the brand's emblematic print.

These eight artists merge fashion design, painting, music, visual arts, and street culture to cover different disciplines and international cities, from Berlin to Los Angeles, from Milan to Tokyo.

The Japanese artist Daisuke, the Italian visual artists Weel Lee and Andrea Crespi, the German painter Mago, the American artist Kate Ahn, the Italian shoemaker Clessio, the Japanese parkour athlete Zen Shimada and the Californian creative Shane Gonzales compose this collective.

The eight talents were photographed, duly dressed in Etro designs stamped with the recognizable print, next to their artworks created for the brand. The images will be featured in the fashion house's new digital campaign, posted on the brand’s social media and on the Instagram accounts of the young creatives, who each boast many followers on the platform.
