Estée Lauder makes more key appointments

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. announced on Thursday morning the appointment of Damon Burrell and Anna Klein as Senior Vice President, Consumer Engagement and Vice President, Corporate Affairs, respectively. The appointments are aimed to expand the company’s consumer engagement and digital capabilities, and to continue to strengthen corporate communications globally.

Burrell joined The Estée Lauder Companies on April 11, 2016 and he reports to Georgia Garinois-Melenikiotou, Executive Vice President, Corporate Marketing. As SVP, Consumer Engagement, Burrell will be responsible for continuing to advance the company’s consumer engagement capabilities to further enable seamless customer experiences across all channels. He joined Estée Lauder from Nickelodeon where he served as SVP, 360 Marketing.

Anna Klein, who has been appointed Vice President, Corporate Affairs, will assume the role on July 1, 2016. Since 2007, Klein has held roles of increasing responsibility in Global Communications. In her new role, she will continue to strengthen and accelerate a global communications strategy to further align business priorities, manage issues, enable risk mitigation and identify areas of opportunity. Klein will continue to report directly to Alexandra C. Trower, Executive Vice President, Global Communications.
