Eos hires former Bath & Body Works exec as new CMO

Eos Products has hired Soyoung Kang as chief marketing officer, a role in which she will lead global communications, strategy and innovation. Kang most recently served as SVP at Bath & Body Works.

Eos Co-Founder and CEO Jonathan Teller said, "We have ambitious growth objectives, and we are committed to investing in the right talent and resources to get there."

Kang most recently held the title of senior vice president of brand development and merchandising at Bath & Body Works. Prior to this, she held various marketing and brand leadership roles with the company for the past ten years.

Before joining Bath & Body Works, Kang was a director for Victoria's Secret beauty and ran strategy for L Brands. She holds her Bachelor's degree in architecture from MIT and an MBA in finance and marketing from Wharton.

Kang joins Eos following the appointment of new general manager for North America, Bob Murphy. The company has also recently made additional senior hires in digital, e-commerce, public relations, influencer marketing, finance and HR.   

Having started with a line of lip balms, Eos is now sold in 18 countries operates from seven global office locations. The brand continues to expand into additional beauty and personal care categories.

Kang's appointment is effective immediately. She will work out of Eos Products' New York office.
