Muñoz has over 20 years of experience working in the fashion sector. He has spent most of his career at Massimo Dutti, where he led the expansion into the Middle East and Asia.

He has also been market leader for Apple Retail Spain, leading and implementing new strategies to ensure compliance of company standards. Most recently, he served as international retail area manager for Inditex.

At El Ganso, the executive will build and develop commercial opportunities and advise on strategic decisions as part of the brand’s executive team.

El Ganso was established by brothers Alvaro and Clemente Cebrian. In 2015 the company increased its sales by 15% to 70 million euros and is forecast to reach 90 million euros in sales in 2016 due to its expanded store portfolio.

El Ganso is also investing over 360,000 euros in its digital infrastructure as it aims to strengthen its online website and accelerate the digitilisation of its processes.

The brand currently trades from 153 stores in Spain and internationally. 35 further locations are expected to be added shortly, particularly in Spain, France, the UK and Mexico.
