On Saturday July 25th in Tokyo, Gucci will open the door to the Japanese capital's Dover Street Market, setting up a boutique in this temple of hype fashion. But this isn't all, since the same operation is planned in Dover Street Market shops in New York (coinciding with the US Fashion Week), London and finally in the autumn in Beijing. It's a joint initiative set up for the launch of the new Gucci collections, designed by Alessandro Michele, the fashion label's new artistic director.

"We were thrilled when Dover Street Market put forward the project. There are currently very few players comparable to this retailer in the contemporary fashion trade - explains Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri.  I'm sure this partnership will be appreciated by our current customers and by those who are attracted by the brand's evolution'.

As for Adrian Joffe, Dover Street Market's CEO, he stated: "We always believed in the importance of breaking the rules and taking risks. Doing so together with a company like Gucci is even more exciting. We're very proud and honoured to be part of the Gucci revolution."
