Dior has officially teamed up with French LED technology specialist Lucibel, which designs, manufactures and markets lighting solutions. Their partnership began in July 2022 around a futuristic-looking anti-ageing mask.

LED Dior Skin Light mask - Dior

The French house, owned by LVMH has just launched Dior Skin Light, an LED anti-ageing mask. Presented as a preview at the Dior Cheval Blanc spa in Paris, the mask, which sells for 4,000 euros, is now available on the Dior website and in a selection of spas and Dior boutiques, notably in Paris, London, Geneva and Oslo.

Thanks to its photobiomodulation technology, which uses red light to stimulate the skin cells, the Dior Skin Light has been designed to increase skin rejuvenation, by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. "In just twelve minutes, LEDs act on redness, pores and sebum for radiant, plumped and smoothed skin," Dior promises.

The launch was announced on the Diorbeauty Instagram account, which has over 11 million followers, as well as on Parfums Christian Dior's LinkedIn profile.

However, Dior is not the first brand to launch an LED face mask. In May 2022, Clarins, relaunched its myBlend skincare brand, also unveiling a similar mask, priced at €970, which targets tissue regeneration.
