(Relaxnews) - Lovers of shiny, twinkly things and luxury travel may be interested to learn about an exclusive 12-day journey organized by French crystal maker Baccarat that will whisk guests on a world tour of their crystal boutiques and museums from Paris to Tokyo.

Baccarat embarks on world tour

It's a crystal collector's bucket travel dream come true -- if they have $300,000 to spare, that is.

Billed as “The Baccarat Heritage Experience,” the 12-day voyage begins in New York at the company's first branded Baccarat Hotel, recognizable from the street by a 125-foot (38-meter) wide facade of corrugated crystal curtains.

Following an afternoon tea, guests will visit Baccarat's flagship boutique on Madison Avenue for an after-hours tour.

Guests will also visit the exclusive Spa de La Mer, the first and only spa for the luxurious skincare brand La Mer.

From there, the itinerary calls for a flight aboard a private plane to Paris, where guests will visit the Maison Baccarat, originally home to Marie Laure de Noailles, a patron of the arts whose social circle included Salvador Dali, Man Ray and Jean Cocteau. Guests will also tour the Musée Baccarat, which houses some of the brand's major works over its 252-year history, be it for Heads of State, Royal Courts, celebrities to World Fairs.

Other stops include Istanbul, Moscow, Tokyo and Seoul, cities with strong ties to the crystal brand.

The trip includes private aviation, five-star accommodations, airport transfers, meals and activities.

Baccarat is the latest luxury brand to launch an around-the-world trip via the skies.

In April, the Four Seasons hotel brand crafted a globetrotting journey centered around haute gastronomy. Designed in collaboration with top Danish chef René Redzepi, the three-week itinerary begins in Seoul, and hits Tokyo, Hong Kong, Chiang Mai, Mumbai, Florence, Lisbon, Copenhagen and Paris.

The edible odyssey is priced at $135,000.
