A year after becoming the president of TBS Crew, the company running The Blonde Salad blog, Italian fashion influencer/entrepreneur Chiara Ferragni is now also the CEO of Chiara Ferragni Collection, the label for which she also is the creative director. At the same time, Fabio Maria Damato (formerly general manager of TBS Crew), takes on the same role for Ferragni's fashion label, for which Paolo Barletta has been appointed chairman of the board of directors, where he is joined also by Alessandro Marina.

“After years of expansion and international growth, I felt the need to be more directly involved in my eponymous brand, on the managerial side too,” said Ferragni, adding that “now more than ever, market positioning, product design and the collections’ distribution will play a crucial role in the label's evolution.”

On the product and styling side, last January the company hired Flavia Santori (formerly in charge of footwear for the NGG Group’s labels, including Off-White and Palm Angels), who is already busy with her design team on the Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Luisa Lozupone, who worked for over 10 years at brands like Peuterey, is the label's new marketing and communication manager.

Chiara Ferragni Collection was launched in 2013 as a footwear label, and after a few seasons it extended to include apparel and accessories. It began to expand internationally in 2016, chiefly by opening pop-up stores in select department stores and boutiques like Le Bon Marché, LuisaViaRoma, Apropos, Breeze Center, Selfridges, Level Shoe District and The Grove. In July 2017, Chiara Ferragni Colllection inaugurated a flagship store in Milan, and since then it has opened another 10 stores worldwide.
