As part of the partnership, the support platforms will create a Facebook Live series with insights and resources shared by a curated line-up of international guest speakers.

This will provide a learning tool for CFE businesses to find potential opportunities to infiltrate the US and Canada.

Ashley Barby, who founded Fashion Tech Toronto in 2017, said: “We are thrilled to be working alongside the Centre for Fashion Enterprise to build a global fashion technology community and nurture emerging companies within this industry. CFE’s eye towards nurturing innovation by new and emerging fashion businesses, while building on their legacy as one of the world’s leading fashion incubators, demonstrates the potential for growth in this industry.”

The Canadian support platform aims to connect fashion and technology sectors through events, where guest speakers from companies such as Shopify, Tulip Retail and ModiFace share tips and advice.

Emerging brands supported by the Centre for Fashion Enterprise will benefit from this latest partnership as they work with the incubator to develop their business.

CFE alumni include Erdem, Peter Pilotto, Mary Katrantzou, Marques Almeida and Craig Green.
