As usual, Karl-Heinz Müller gave only outline of what’s to come. Half an hour before the FIFA World Cup semi-final, the evening almost canceled because of a storm, Bread & Butter’s founder took to the stage simply to turn on a film.

From the legendary Berlin airport, the show will direct its course south, back to Barcelona, returning to Berlin in July, rounding things off in September in Seoul. The only known dates that are fixed are those for Barcelona, from January 8 - 19, 2015. "We will precede the Italians - that’s this evenings real breaking news," said Karl-Heinz Müller. As regards this point, he's correct. FashionMag announced on Friday that the show would probably head to Barcelona in January, and there’s been talk about South Korea since as early as January. As such, it’s worth noteworthy that Pitti Uomo will be held next year from January 13 to 16.

Bread & Butter in Seoul September 3 - 5

In looking for a breath of new life, the young and urban fashion trade show is breaking its normal rhythm with three editions in three different cities, at every stop enlisting the support of the local government and authorities. “Anything could happen in 2016. Maybe you’d fancy a summer in Barcelona? Or perhaps a winter in Berlin? It's beautiful when it snows. But I guarantee you that Seoul in September is wonderful,” said Bread’s boss before heading off to see the World Cup game with the German flag draped around his shoulders.
