Billabong Lab has launched a new collection inspired by the works of Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, and the relationship between the two artists, featuring tees, boardshorts, swimwear and accessories for men and women.

The capsule features tees, boardshorts, swimwear and accessories - Billabong

The collection offers five different prints of boardshorts, mix and match bikini pieces, a tote bag, a crop tee, a woven shirt, and multiple graphic tees.

In a release, Allison Brook Roberts, Billabong women's creative director, called the aesthetic of the collection a "collision of graffiti-esque yardage prints," adding, "Their styles gave us permission to play with a look you wouldn’t typically expect from us."

Billabong Lab is the division of the company that supports artists, musicians, designers and surf icons. Billabong's Global VP of Creative Brad Lancaster, said, "The best part of this collection is how it brings some of the world’s most inspiring and exclusive art to a collection of boardshorts and products for the kid who wouldn’t otherwise experience it.”

The release from a company further explained that, as Warhol had a longtime interest in surf culture and Basquiat's work speaks to a younger generation, both contemporary artists are a fitting inspiration for Billabong's target market.

Price points for Warhol x Basquiat x Billabong range from just under $30 for hats to  just over $100 for a reversible one piece swimsuit.
