One of the main events is #PunkLondon, which the council helped curate: a year long series of events, gigs, films, talks and exhibitions to celebrate forty years of punk heritage in London. During LC:M; designer Paul Smith and photographer Derek Ridgers are holding a free exhibition in the gallery space at the Paul Smith Albemarle Street store, and Paul Smith has also created limited edition t-shirts featuring Ridgers’ seminal punk photographs.

King's Cross and Central Saint Martins have teamed up for "From King’s Road to King’s Cross: The Story of Punk Clothing", an exhibition that showcases punk fashion, while the British Library and the Museum of London are also both hosting exhibitions about the groundbreaking subculture.

The week will also host the Soho Create Festival, which brings together top creative minds for a week of talks, workshops, open houses, pop-ups, parties and more. Luxury retail area Jermyn Street will be transformed into an open-air catwalk for the second time to celebrate the menswear week. The week will also feature the Arde Architecture and Design Event at Somerset House, and contemporary illustration and street art event Illustrated 2016. In addition, the BFC is also holding its Men's Week Talk Series throughout LC:M.
