Just in time for Coachella, beloved Canadian fashion boutique Aritzia is finally arriving to Los Angeles. The Vancouver-based shop opened its first LA flagship shop at the Westfield Century City – not that LA was lacking in fabulous shops, but the Canadian retailer is certainly a welcome addition.

While the new flagship marks Aritzia’s first permanent LA outpost, this isn’t the first time the Canadian brand has come to Southern California. At the end of last year, Aritzia opened a pop-up shop on Melrose Avenue, providing Angelenos with a taste of the retailer’s well priced but trendy pieces. Aritzia sells everything ranging from purses and accessories to stylish separates. Its roster includes in-house brands such as Wilfred and Babaton and it has previously collaborated with Los Angeles brand Citizens of Humanity.

The new space boasts 11,000 square feet, including a 400-square-foott VIP shopping area where buyers can have a private shopping experience. Just as impressive is the store’s decor, which includes murals, sculptures and plants throughout and a herringbone marble floor custom-designed for the space.

The opening is a big get for the Westfield Century City, which has also snagged Mario Batali’s Eataly in part of an $800 million renovation. This is the eight North American store for Aritzia, which launched in Vancouver in 1984.
