New York-based Altuzarra has opened the doors to a new Madison Avenue boutique in New York City.

Altuzarra opens on Madison Avenue in NYC - Altuzarra

Located at 959 Madison Avenue, the 1,200-square-foot boutique officially opened on Tuesday unveiling a space designed by Matthew Fisher in collaboration with Joseph Altuzarra, who first launched his brand in 2008.

The boutique has a clean-gallery feel, juxtaposed with a custom wood window display, curved custom shelving and wrought iron racks, created with the aim to reflect Altuzarra’s vision for a modern woman’s wardrobe built on principles of timelessness, craft and quality.

Completing the store design is an art collection including two sculptural pieces in Naxos Green marble designed by Fisher. The first piece was specifically commissioned for the new space and serves as the centerpiece table. Meanwhile, the main light fixture was carved from four joined pieces of Italian alabaster, inspired by Altuzarra's collections.

The store will house Altuzarra’s ready-to-wear, leather goods and home collections, as well as limited-edition collaborations and special products. For convenience, it also offers private appointments, curbside pickup and custom tailoring and alterations.

The space joins the brand’s other boutique at 2 Main Street in East Hampton. Looking ahead, the company said it aims to open one-to-two more stores a year in the next three-to-five years.
