​MotoGP star Jorge Lorenzo joins Tissot as ambassador

Three-time MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo has been named Tissot’s new brand ambassador. The watch company, which is the official timekeeper of the motorcycle racing championship, said Lorenzo represents the values of the brand perfectly.

The Spanish rider has enjoyed success in the motorsports scene since an early age. When he was 8 years old, Lorenzo won the Balearic Championship; and when he was 15, he became the youngest rider in the World Championship.

After three years in the 125CC category, he escalated to 250cc and achieved two consecutive World Championship Titles. Jorge Lorenzo was then at ease in making the leap to the top flight in 2008. In his first race, he won pole position and in his third MotoGP Grand Prix, he climbed to the top of the podium.

In eight seasons, Jorge Lorenzo achieved three World Championships (2010, 2012 and 2015), has been runner-up three times (2009, 2011 and 2013) and has become one of the most important racers of all-time.
