German e-tailer Zalando will provide its return-on-demand service to customers who are also using the Zalon personal styling site. It will be the first time that the two services are combined.

After a short test run in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, the pick-up service, Zalando haalt op (Zalando collects)launched throughout the country last year. Customers can choose a pick-up time through one-hour time slots on the company’s website.

Zalando first introduced Zalon, the company’s free personal styling service, to its Dutch customers in October 2016. With Zalon, men and women can create a style profile in return for advice and styling tips from professional stylists. The platform is also a tool to put Dutch stylists on the map. Zalon offers all of Zalando’s 1,500 brands via the platform.

The combined return-on-demand and styling service is an example of Zalando’s continued investment in its customer experience, a focus the company reported earlier this year.

Founded in 2008, Zalando is one of Europe’s leading online fashion platforms for women, men and children. The company delivers 1500 international brands to 15 European countries, including the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, and Italy. The online shop attracts over 200 million visits per month.
