The London Textile Fair continues to grow. The latest edition of the show, which took place at the Business Design Centre in Angel, Islington on July 15-16, attracted 380 exhibitors and 5,000 visitors from 59 countries.

The show's four main areas (Textiles, Accessories & Trims, Print Studios and Vintage Clothes) were fully booked. The company said this was due to the high returning rate and the lowest historical drop down since the show started in 2008, perhaps a sign that things are returning to their pre-recession state. The re-booking rate for TLTF is 95%.

Though TLTF is mainly represented by textile and accessory manufacturers (70%), the Print Studios and Vintage Hall is increasing its popularity within the show. The majority of attendants, 86%, at the fair were British, but the fair also has a "consistent" attendance from abroad.

"The LTF continues to be the essential domestic exhibition for the British Fashion Industry," said exhibitor Gareth Wilson, Wheeler Hickson Trading Ltd.

The next TLTF takes place on January 13-14.
