Rapper and actor Kyle has been snapped up by Ugg to be the face of its latest campaign for US retailer Footaction.

The multiplatinum artist and California native can be seen exploring some of New York's most iconic landmarks in the campaign, from kicking back by the Statue of Liberty, to checking out Central Park's Strawberry Fields and grabbing a bite in Chinatown. Shot by Chris McPherson, the images show Kyle sporting a range of Ugg styles, including the Classic Toggle, the Neumel Color Block in various hues, and the Harkley.

"I really love how versatile the UGG styles are," said Kyle in a statement. "I'm a dude from California and I can rock UGG any day. It was dope to be able to partner with UGG and Footaction on this campaign."

Kyle, who is currently in New York to film his first lead role in the Netflix hip-hop comedy "The After Party," shot to fame over the summer with his breakout single, "iSpy (feat. Lil Yachty)," which hit number one on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs and number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the US. He has collaborated with Chance The Rapper, G-Eazy and Kehlani, and performed on stage at this year's MTV Video Music Awards, where he garnered a nomination.

This is not the first time footwear brand Ugg has fraternized with the music industry -- it hired rapper Lil Yachty to front the campaign for its Jeremy Scott collaboration back in September, and signed up rapper Vic Mensa to be the face of its Fall 2016 campaign.

The latest Ugg and Footaction campaign styles, including three new exclusive Ugg Neumel colorways, are now available in store or online from Footaction, or online at Ugg's website.
