PVH Corp. has announced a new licensing deal for women's sportswear, golf and active apparel under its Izod brand in North America.

Izod

The agreement gives Sports Products of America (a division of Adjmi Apparel Group) full license to manufacture, distribute and market Izod women's sportswear, golf apparel and active apparel in all sizes through the US and Canada.

Products under the new licensing deal will first launch in February 2018. They will primarily be sold in department stores as well as specialty stores and online.

Adjmi regularly does business in the active and sportswear categories. Its brands include Hind, Fila and Champion, all of which hold the same heritage and historic consumer appeal as Izod.

Ken Wyse, President Licensing, PVH Corp said, “Adjmi has extensive knowledge and experience in these categories and we look forward to working with them to build this business across the United States and Canada.” Wyse described Izod's positioning as a "youthful, energetic, sports-inspired lifestyle" brand.

Mark Adjmi, CEO of Adjmi Apparel Group added “This partnership will combine Adjmi Apparel Group’s decades of experience delivering high-quality and fashionable women’s apparel with the iconic Izod brand." Izod has an 80 year history. Adjimi shed light on the design direction that consumers can expect saying, "We look forward to providing the Izod woman with confident, approachable and comfortable sportswear, golfwear and activewear."

The initial term of the licensing deal will run through 2020. In addition to department stores and specialty retailers, the agreement also provides for women's Izod product to be sold at national chains and sporting good stores across the US and Canada.
