H&M may get most attention for its annual November designer collaborations but the brand continues to link up with cool labels and individuals year-round and the latest hook-up is with artist Ace Tee.

The two have joined forces to create a new collection, “characterised by an urban street style.” The collection will be available  on the retail giant’s website from September 7.

Inspired by Ace Tee’s personal style, the pieces pay homage to the “fashion and light-heartedness of the 90s: streetwear fashion that is feminine and cool at the same time.”

But as well as streetwear styles, the collection also taps into the athleisure trend that is a must-have for any youth-focused collection at present with a gym-to-street look and feel.

A colour palette of black and white is combined with bright orange and vibrant yellow while band T-shirts and track pants are paired with a fitted wrap top and a short kimono. A tight body, plus leggings and a sporty top in camouflage print create an urban look.

A short wrap skirt and matching jacket fit the 90s double denim look. And the collection includes a number of accessories such as a fan scarf, colourful sunglasses, choker and socks.

Ace Tee gained an international reputation a short time after her song ‘Bist du down’ went viral. “I am deeply convinced that music and fashion can connect people beyond nationality, gender and age. I am happy if I can achieve the same feeling with my collection,” she said.
