The Utrecht branch, which will be located at Choorstraat 13, is set to open its doors in February. The 80 m2 store will only carry women’s collections. In the same month the 160 m2 Rotterdam store, which also focuses on collections for women, will open its doors at Meent 65. The Maastricht-based branch will land later in the year.

Essentiel unveiled its first store in the Netherlands in 2016, in Amsterdam. A year later, branches in Haarlem and Den Bosch followed. In addition to its own stores, the label is also available via 70 multi-brand stores in the Netherlands, including Van Dijk, Voorwinden, Het Bonte Schaep and Van Dort mode. The label is also on offer at Hudson’s Bay, since the launch of the department store in the Netherlands in September.

Essentiel launched in 1999 as a basic t-shirt collection and has now grown into a ready-to-wear brand for men and women. The label, founded by Inge Onsea and Esfan Eghtessadi, is now sold in more than 40 countries.
