She is expected to join the luxury company in the summer and will report directly to Net-A-Porter’s president Alison Leohnis and managing director Matthew Woolsey.

Von der Goltz spent 14 years at luxury US department store Bergdorf Goodman, and was most recently responsible for fine apparel, designer sportswear, bridal, coats, lingerie, swimwear and jewellery. Prior to Bergdorf Goodman, she held positions at Barneys New York and upscale women’s specialty boutique Henri Bendel.

For her new role, she will relocate to Yoox Net-A-Porter’s headquarters in West London. She replaces Sarah Rutson, who announced her departure from the business in January to focus on her family.

Von der Goltz’s appointment follows the announcement that Alessandra Rossi would take up the role of president, off-season at the luxury group last month. This means she will be responsible for the group’s Yoox and The Outnet businesses, which stock previous-season designer fashion.
