Adidas, Snoop Dogg pair up for skateboarding collaboration

Rapper Snoop Dogg and skateboarding icon Mark “Gonz” Gonzalez have teamed up with Adidas for a limited-edition collaboration. The collection called “LA Stories” will include both footwear and apparel.

The collection will feature a limited-edition sneaker, hoodie, t-shirt, and long sleeved shirt. The collection is inspired by Southern California, where both collaborators have roots. It will feature pastel colors and nostalgic, California-inspired imagery. 

The collaboration will also include a customized version of Adidas’s classic Matchcourt Mid sneaker. The sneaker will feature powder blue versions of the Adidas tri-stripe and gold eyelets. The heel and tongue of the shoe will feature artwork by Gonz himself. 

To promote the upcoming collaboration with Adidas, the duo is releasing a series of videos about their childhood in Los Angeles and their favorite parts of their L.A. lifestyle. 

The Snoop x Gonz will be available for purchase on December 5th. Prices for the collection will begin at $30 for apparel, with the sneakers retailing at $85. The collection will retail on both adidas.com as well as at skateboard-specific retail stores across the country.
