Agent Provocateur is marking 20 years at the top of the women's lingerie industry with a campaign celebrating the desirability of the modern woman.

Abby Lee Kershaw in the new Agent Provacteur campaign, shot by Mario Sorrenti.

Starring the Australian model, actress and musician Abbey Lee Kershaw, the pared-back Fall 2016 campaign, which was shot by high fashion photographer Mario Sorrenti, focuses on the modern woman and her "needs, her lifestyle, her work, rest, and playtime."

The result is a series of simplistic yet sensual black and white images featuring Kershaw as Sorrenti's 'modern muse.' Styled by George Cortina, the model sports a range of pieces from Agent Provocateur's Autumn / Winter 2016 collection, which was designed to be mixed and matched for any occasion, including a standalone French knicker, a fishnet bra and a rubberized Chantilly lace corset.

"I was completely starstruck to work with Mario," says Creative Director Says Sarah Shotton. "I've never seen anyone work in the way that he did. He loves the brand and that really came through; he wanted to strip everything back -- nothing but Abbey, the underwear, and that electric magnetism between them. It was an intensely sexy shoot."

The multitalented Kershaw, who was chosen to represent "the perfect example of modern femininity," is no stranger to underwear modelling, having walked the runway for Victoria's Secret in 2008 and 2009. Her stellar career has seen her pose for Calvin Klein, Versace, Kenzo, Gucci and Saint Laurent among many others, as well as taking Hollywood by storm via her performance in the 2015 hit "Mad Max: Fury Road."
